 Yes, our Brand New IBC Totes are manufactured with 100% virgin HDPE bottles that are food-grade, BPA-free, and FDA-approved, making them suitable for potable water, liquid food products, and other sensitive applications. Our Rebottled IBC Totes can also be used for certain food-grade applications where a new inner bottle is essential. 

 Our standard IBC Tanks have a capacity of 275 US Gallons (approximately 1040 Liters). We also offer 1200L capacity options for specific project requirements. Please contact our team to discuss your volume needs. 

  Many of our IBC Totes, including our Brand New and Rebottled options, are UN Approved (Specification 31HA1/Y), certifying them for the safe transport of hazardous materials. This compliance is crucial for shipping across both Canada and the United States, ensuring adherence to national and international transport regulations. 

 A UN Intermediate Bulk Container (UN IBC) is a tote that meets international safety standards for transporting dangerous goods. In Canada, UN-rated IBCs must comply with CAN/CGSB-43.146-2022, the national standard for the design, manufacture, testing, and use of IBCs. This ensures the container is built, inspected, and maintained to safely carry hazardous materials.

• Made in Canada: Must follow sections 2–11 of CAN/CGSB-43.146.
• Made outside Canada: Must comply with UN Recommendations (Chapter 6.5) and the national regulations of the country of manufacture.

These rules cover design approval, leak testing, inspection schedules, and facility registration. Having a UN IBC means the container is legally certified for the transport of regulated classes of dangerous goods in Canada and internationally.
